Overview
This project focused on the redesign of KFUPM’s website. KFUPM is one of the first universities founded in Saudi Arabia, leading the country with its research and focus on innovation. We needed to make sure the website reflected these major characteristics.
Problem
The website hadn’t been updated in a long time and as a result had some flaws that needed to amended.
Process
Before starting the designing process we collaborated on a design audit to have a clear understanding on the major goals we wanted to achieve.
To effectively address these issues, we first needed to understand the goals and needs of the different users visiting the KFUPM website, beginning with the development of user personas.
After gaining a deeper understanding of major user groups we began a site-map to organize pages and map out user journeys to ensure a simpler navigation process.
